I've been really impressed with Walker. He's not the biggest or best quick leaping Post Player but he battles. Also he takes great angles on both offense and defense. Defensively I love how he positions himself against some of these Monsters in the B1G riding then out of the paint or locking them up so they can't rebound. He also does a good job pushing his player under the hoop on the baseline taking them out of scoring position. When you are giving up the height and weight he is that's about all he can really do. If we had some back side help that could block shots it would really help him out against the players who physically back him down in the paint. They'd have to think twice because a shot blocker would have time to provide back side shot blocking.

I firmly believe if he were closer to 7 foot, he'd be talked about among the top few 5s in the B1G. He's severely undersized compared to most of em, but his foot work and motor make up for so much of it.

He's very good at basketball. We're also probably coping a little bit. At the very least, he'll be a great guy to beat up on Wilhelm and Blaise in practice next year.
