Living in Lincoln, obviously I don't have direct access to any of the real gummies. Anyone have any experience with Delta 8 or Delta 9? Just looking for something to let me chill every now and then. Are these "legal" offshoots just a waste of money and watered down?

I’ve never smoked weed in my life. I tried one of the gummies for the hell of it and it did give me a high. I’ll have to ask her if it’s similar to the real thing since she tried many more drugs back in the day.

I did Delta 8 once as a replacement for the hemp flower that I had tried and liked. Delta 8 was awful. I felt sick the whole time and it put me down for basically the full next day.

I recently bought some of both and they both work but stick to the edibles. It’s also not nearly as intense of a high as actual weed bc the THC content is quite a bit lower.

The delta 9 shit basically made a little dizzy and lightheaded but I was relaxed. I can’t say it was the greatest or worst thing in the world.

Stick to the interstate. Remember, they have to have a reason to stop/search you if you're not breaking any traffic laws. Don't speed, tailgate or switch lanes a lot and use your blinkers. Unwrap your gummies and put them in with regular candy if it makes you feel safer.

Funny thing is John Lowe who is kearney’s state representative is one of the biggest advocates against legalizing marijuana for moral reasons, and yet he owns Platte Valley Brewery in Kearney. It’s pretty laughable.
