Rhule said he’s asking some folks from outside the program to take a look at the offense and give feedback. This includes guys coming to campus and seeing things up close. I’m fascinated by this. He said it was rare to do this in season. Hopeful we can get some intel on who it is.

What Would You Say You Do Here Office Space GIF

Probably Frank Solich or Bo Pelini.

Just throwing stupid names out there

Phil Snow would be a solid bet. It looks like he is no longer an analyst for the Bears this year based on website staff lists. Dude might just be in retirement right now.

Seattle Seahawks have a bye this week. Jake Peetz, who worked with Rhule in Carolina, Rhule’s first choice for an WB coach, and who is Seattle’s pass game coordinator, could theoretically pop in for a couple days perhaps. Not sure what a bye is like for an NFL coach. Frisman Jackson also coaches for Seattle.

If it’s anything like the corporate world I imagine bringing a “consultant” in will be a total waste of time and money. Also managements are usually too headstrong/egotistical to actually implement recommendations from (the very few amount of credible) consultants

It’s been well established on here that running a football program is almost exactly like corporate.

But here the guy in charge of offense wtih potential to be headstrong/stubborn/resistant to change is Satterfield. It's not Rhule's offense, so I don't see him being to egotistial to change it.

Rhule seems to be all about making whatever changes are necessary to improve the offense this season. I don't think he's bringing these guys in to waste everyone's time by ignoring their advice.

One of the things I'm curious about is who is footing the bill for these outside experts to come here and tell him Satterfield and Skippy suck ass and Foley is a dead weight.
