I mean, that’s always how it works on big plays like that to rush to the line and get a play off before they can see if it’s a drop. And the checking for a wire on the punt is standard operating for that situation they said. Idk what your complaining about?

But the nfl doesn’t stop plays for replay do they? I thought that was just college. I know they do for scoring plays or turnovers but not a regular play?
