Probably a little far north for @HuskerGarrett but for those near the Denver metro...anybody heading to Bender's in Westminster to watch the game? I'll be there around 10:30 with wifey and both of my rugrats. Will be a miracle if we're able to stay there past halftime, please send prayers for the cooperation of my crotch goblins.

I will be drinking at a pace commensurate to our performance, which I will assess based solely on how we look on our first drive. Good first drive performance = heavy drinking (happy). Bad first drive performance = heavy drinking (sad).

15% off food & drink with a Coloradoans for Nebraska membership card. Anyway if anyone's gonna be around, hit me up.

Mrs and I will probably just watch at home. It'll be easier to manage the whiskey when we hit our fourth drive-killing penalty for the day. Plus, phew... Westminster may as well be on the other side of the globe from SE Aurora lol.

Fair enough. Of course I'd love to watch the game at the bar surrounded by fellow Husker brethren, but with 2 kids under 2 years old we'll just see how long it takes for that pipe dream to fade into oblivion.

Growing up in rural NE and then living in larger metro areas for most of my adult life...it's been an interesting shift in perspective on how far I am willing to travel to do anything. It used to be a 30 min drive minimum to do anything, but now that I have everything I need within a 3 mile radius I bitch and moan if I have to drive any more than 15 min. Fucking city slicker.

are there usually good crowds up there? It's a bit of a hike for me, but wouldn't mind checking a new husker bar out some time this year.

ill be slamming pitchers of beer downtown at Giggling Grizzly when the doors open Saturday.

Where at in SE Aurora? My good buddy lives east of Tower Rd off Hampden so I make it out that way a fair amount. That drive would be a solid hour from his location haha

We're in between Arapahoe and Smokey Hill off of Ponderosa Trail. Not too incredibly far from Tower and Hampden. Just down Smokey Hill a bit.

Maybe I’ll make the trek up there

Not sure on crowds, never been. It's a pretty popular spot with a good layout for watching sports so I'm sure it will draw a crowd. Don't know anything about the place but on their website it says "and no, it's not a coincidence that we are an official watch site for Coloradoans for Nebraska" so it seems like my kind of place.

500 bonus points for using "commensurate"..........carry on.

We’re in the middle of a remodel and getting a beam installed this weekend so I’ll be watching the game in my basement. When I was younger I would go watch the games at Fox and The Hound in Littleton, pretty good times.

I used to go watch the Saturday night games at Gigs for a couple of years - I couldn’t stand some of the idiotic fans at that bar though
