If Lewis got in there and then had inside track to the HC job when Ferentz leaves in 1-3 yrs that'd be a hell of a play for him (Lewis).

I would say it's 50-50 that Kirk is gone next season.

I'd also say its 90% Kirk NOT hiring Sean Lewis if Kirk sticks around. Kirk will hire another lackey to run the same offense they've had since 1999. Brian didn't invent this thing, he's just running the conservative schemes that Dad prefers.

I’d be surprised if they got Chryst. The man hates Cockeye as much as we do.

I wouldn’t think so. She is going to have to hire a head coach at some point (this job or another) and you don’t want to be the person who forced an OC on your most legendary HC some 20+ years into his career.

The only reason she could be involved in the Brian thing is that Kirk couldn’t be his immediate supervisor, so he was boxed out.
