I’m a glutton for punishment. Thought I would rewatch and compare the Coach Rhule intro press conference with Frost’s. After watching Rhule’s signing day conference too, I wanted to make sure my recollections of FHCSF was correct. The difference between the two is even greater after watching this again…
A couple of things stick out:
* After the intro and the acknowledgement of the former players there, the energy quickly evaporated.
* Frost relied on Coach speak and kept repeating himself with several phrases the whole press conference. No in-depth philosophy shared.
* It was a Scott Frost love fest between Moos and the reporters.
* Moos you could tell was only looking at Frost. It was not hard to hide.
* Moos talked about programs who fired their coach in mid season who were still looking at the time and were shut out.
Such a big difference between both Moos and Turd and Rhule and Frost.
That’s all. Since I didn’t start drinking before I watched, I need to now —- thinking of the wasted 5 years we all struggled with.
Can’t wait for the spring game and season!
