The cushion after the big play was absolutely ridiculous. Are our dbs that much slower that they need to give a 10 yard cushion? Williams made some big hits but he was out of position a handful of times. Dismuke is terrible.
It was definitely big already but I think it got bigger. Bootle was outmatched and he knew it.
That's the only real saving grace for me is that the teams aren't getting better, they're getting worse. There were some positives and the young DL is a pretty exciting development, but the secondary was a pretty big let down
Yeah I expected that group to be pretty good. Fields had all day to throw and the scheme didn't do them any favors.
In any event, it's easy to write off this week against a playoff contender, but if they play that poorly next week it suggests there are much bigger problems.
