could do worse given Texas send more kids to the NFL than any other state
I’d be happy with a roster full of Nebraska and Texas kids

Even though the state of Texas is full of pussies

plus the states of both Texas and Nebraska believe in consuming beef, lots & lots of charred cow. Seems like a similar ideology. No worry of some snowflake showing up on a Recruiting Visit wondering how many ways we can prepare Tofu.
Speaking of where did Matt Lubick end up? Back with Canvas Bank?

Do we think this is a good visit list or bad?

Doesn’t seem bad to me, but maybe there should be more? Or maybe there will be more in season visits for games?

they are leaving in season OVs for some guys because they think it helps when people have the gameday experience (primarily guys who have already had unofficials - these guys also want to see the completed new facilities having seen them in the spring). Supposedly this includes the Mater Dei guys. Hopefully we can show we're improving in the fall.

I read somewhere that they are planning to save room to take up to six or so guys in the fall, which likely means they are shooting for 12-14 commits by mid-July given the numbers.

Seems better to me than last summer (Mickey and the other new coaches) which was infinitely better than the summer before that (Worst coaching staff in Nebraska history).

But that's really my only gauge.

That seems low. Will we not have much room?

We really don't have a lot of graduating guys. We have 8 guys in the 90 scholarships, but 3 or so of those are likely already walking on so are gone from the 85. There are 23 juniors. Squeezing out more than 20 spots will be difficult. Guys will actually have to transfer or quit without a schollie to free up more.

Very young team - 59 scholarship guys with 3 or 4 remaining years of eligibility heading into this fall.
