In Moneyball Jonah Hill makes the comment “your goal shouldn’t be to buy players, your goal should be to buy wins”

With this in mind, and with 4 years at 5million, then assuming the 15 million dollar buyout amount for this year:

we paid Scott Frost 2,187,500.00 per win during his tenure.

If he got the 4 million this year AND 15mil on top of that - we paid him 2,437,500.00 per win

I say we offer Mickey an interim deal of 1million per win during his interim season. He can’t make under his original salary, but once he passes it in the form of a win that becomes his new salary. I’d love to pay him 9 million this year.

I’m all for pay being performance based in college football…. Just like every other profession. These MF’s sign blockbuster deals and get comfortable.
