Are we excited about this one? Looks like a big Western Nebraska kid. Haven't been following his recruitment so not sure if I'm supposed to celebrate or say he was a reach. I know the potatoes on RSS will be happy no matter how talented or untalented he is cuz he's from Nebraska.

That's probably fair. I have heard that this kid could be a reach. But anybody offered this early I think you just trust the coaches.

Solid pick up if he is the 3rd or 4th OL in a class, should get a lot more attention moving from Mitchell in Class C to Scottsbluff in Class B.

Was at the Embassy in Lincoln in January watching NFL playoffs and his family happened to be sitting next to us. I think they were there for a Junior day visit, can't remember exactly. Had a beer with his dad. Seemed like a nice family, good for him.

We've been good friends with the family for 30+ yrs. He's a big boy and likely has that "nasty streak" that we always talk about. His Gpa was a state champ wrestler in '68 and his dad was a three time state champ. I honestly don't know enough about his natural football talent, footwork, blocking technique, etc. to offer a comment.
The one thing I do know is that the Cockeye State coach (Matt Campbell) is one very disappointed guy right now. ISU wanted Brock really bad.
