I don't know. The Rivals data base shows that he had a Nebraska offer at one point. He visited three times in 2021 and 2020. Must have been the previous staff.

Yeah. Pretty mysterious how he went from a handful of D1 offers to JUCO to walking on.
Maybe he just didn't have a good senior year? Maybe grades were a problem, hence the JUCO route? But does Army offer borderline academic guys?

He said in his interview that his recruiting dropped off to next to nothing about a year ago, so it wasn't his senior season.

He was out there as a DL recruit last year. We took him as an OL. Maybe he's a better looking OL. (Played NG and OG in HS)

So I was really set on just JUCO, and just working my way back in.
