Patio renovation is now done. I know people that have the actual Blackstone, and people that have the Sam's Club version. Anyone have one? Anyone have issues or recommend either one over the other? Seems to be close in price.

What's the Sam's Club version?

I bought a 36 inch blackstone over labor day on the cheap and like it quite a bit, but I imagine lots of similar products do the same job

Any idea which one puts out more BTU’s?
Did a quick google comparison. Both about the same. Basically comes down to a little better built with the actual Blackstone, the grease deal is in front with the Sam's Club one, and said heat distribution would be better with the Blackstone.

Probably made in the same Chinese factory iwbh

Go with the Blackstone so you can just call it a Blackstone in conversation and don't have to explain that it's the Sam's club version
Lol true, looks like they're pretty close in price anyway for a basic one so might as well get the real deal.

I've had the two burner portable Blackstone for several year, and primarily use it when we're camping. Breakfast is phenomenal on a griddle, and one of our favorite things to do is snag a couple of veggie kabobs from HyVee (the store, not the parking lot), dice them into big chunks and griddle them with a little olive or avocado oil, salt, pepper & seasonings. The perfect side dish for any red meat (steaks, burgers, brats, etc.) that I'm preparing alongside the griddle on my grill.

I have the 36 in blackstone with the 2 air fryers underneath and the warming drawer. I like it, but I'm guessing that members mark one would be just as good. The best thing I've done for my Blackstone is I bought wind shields that magnetically attach to the sides and back of the grill to stop wind from going in underneath the steel top. I'll bet it raised my temperatures 200° and it's getting the edges much hotter. Prior to putting the wind shields on, my cooktop temperatures were pretty uneven.

Which ones you get baybee?

I like my blackstone.

Didn’t use it for like 2 months..went to uncover it and it had started to rust.

YouTubed how to get it cleaned up. Wasn’t too bad honestly.

We use it for breakfast more than anything.

Some newer Blackstone models have the wind guards built in. But you can get the magnetic ones pretty cheap, so it's probably not a big deal.

Have a good friend who has the Blackstone as well that says basically any meat meal, and breakfast, are phenomenal on it.

I suppose in a brainstorming situation, with the pieces being cheaper on the member’s mark one, repairs may be a little tougher due to replacement part availability or Sam’s Club literally not being able to accept one to fix it.
