Anyone have one? Things you like/don’t like? I’m thinking about getting one but think I would miss having an actual grill too. Don’t really have room for both right now

I've got the 22" desktop version saved in my "wish list" on Amazon.

I need to take a couple of extending trips with the new camper to see if I can justify it, or if the legacy mini-LP Coleman grill that's been in the family since 'Nam will suffice for my outdoor cooking needs. As a self-confessed gadget guy, I already know how this is going to shake out on my end, but I need to prove it to Mrs. LHR before wading into the spend. Dadburn shame I can't get that in before Father's Day as it would make a perfect gift for me, but I've got an August birthday that I defer things to if we're in alignment about acquiring it.

I've got a 36". It's a beast and I absolutely love it. Absolutely ideal for cooking for large groups, searing off steaks without setting off every smoke alarm in the house, and fried rice.

They cook hot and hot only so not gonna be you huckleberry for everything but it's phenomenal for breakfast, burgers, steaks, fried rice, etc.

I actually got the 36" 1554 a couple of months ago and absolutely love it so far. I'm a huge weekend breakfast guy and it's been a game changer for sure. I still do a lot of grilling and can't imagine doing the griddle over a grill though...so if you're choosing between the two, it probably depends on how much grilling you're doing.

My brother in law loves it, we went over there for a brunch and I helped him cook on it. Pretty sweet

I have one and a pellet grill. I love it. You can grill up for really quick. It’s good for sautéed veggies, burgers, phillys, fajitas, and breakfast etc. It’s much more convenient time wise than the pellet grill because it heats up and cooks so fast.
