Bloomington, Ind. - Nebraska's three freshmen Britt Prince, Amiah Hargrove and Petra Bozan all scored in double figures, but the Huskers fell behind by double digits in the first half and were not able to recover in a 76-60 loss at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall on Sunday.

Nebraska slipped to 16-6 overall and 7-4 in the Big Ten, while the Hoosiers improved to 14-7 and 6-4 in the conference.

Bozan, a 6-5 center from Croatia, scored all of her team-high 12 points in the fourth quarter, including a 7-0 run for the Big Red to open the period and cut Indiana's lead to 57-48 after the Hoosiers carried a 57-41 lead after three quarters.

But Shay Ciezki and Yarden Garzon answered with back-to-back threes to push the Indiana margin back to 15 and squelch NU's comeback hopes. Garzon, who led four Hoosiers in double figures with 19 points, connected on 5-of-9 threes. Chloe Moore-McNeil pitched in 15 points on 4-of-5 three-point shooting while adding seven rebounds and seven assists, as Indiana hit 13-of-30 threes on the afternoon.

Nebraska, which entered the game leading the Big Ten in three-pointers made per game, went just 3-for-11 from long range as the Hoosiers outscored the Huskers by 30 points from beyond the arc.

Prince finished with 11 points, five rebounds, three assists and three steals, while Hargrove also contributed 11 points for Nebraska. Alexis Markowski managed eight points and three rebounds while playing just 18 minutes for the Huskers. Logan Nissley finished with seven points, five rebounds and four assists.

As a team, Nebraska shot 48 percent (24-50) from the field, but went just 9-for-15 at the free throw line. The Huskers also lost the turnover battle 17-8, while matching Indiana on the glass with 31 rebounds.

The Hoosiers finished 46 percent (29-63) from the floor, including a sizzling 43.3 percent from long range. IU hit just 5-of-8 free throws.

Nebraska trailed 36-24 at halftime after being held without a three-pointer in the opening 20 minutes. The Huskers got six points from Prince, five from Callin Hake and four apiece from Markowski, Nissley and Hargrove to stay within reach of the Hoosiers.

The Huskers hit 10-of-22 shots, but committed 10 first-half turnovers. The Hoosiers got 10 points off those turnovers to help create the IU's double-figure advantage.

Indiana built its biggest first-half lead at 32-14 after a 16-0 run that began with a buzzer-beating three-pointer by Henna Sandvik to close the first period and give the Hoosiers a 19-14 lead. IU hit three more threes to open the second quarter, scoring the first 13 points of the period before Nissley and Hake sparked a 9-0 run for the Huskers to cut the margin back to single digits at 32-23 with two minutes left in the half.

The Hoosiers hit 8-of-15 three-pointers, outscoring Nebraska 24-0 behind the arc in the first half. Overall, Indiana connected on 13-of-30 shots from the field (.433) in the half, while winning the turnover battle, 10-6. Garzon and Moore-McNeil led IU with nine first-half points, while Parrish added six points.

Nebraska returns to Big Ten home action on Thursday when the Huskers play host to Michigan.
