Just guessing here and trying to see it from their perspective, but maybe because it was a pay for play payment and not a true NIL deal like its supposed to be now?

Weird how UCF, without any scholarships available, got the NIL deal thru but Nebraska couldn't.
Compliance never reached out to ask, and both parties donating have legit companies to run it thru.

Wilson Dimwit said on his podcast that if he gets 500 likes this week he will walk on for the NU baseball team. He said his little league coach told him if he stayed with baseball he would be the next Willy Stargell.
Isn't it a little late to walk on to the team? The season has already started.

Here's something I haven't been able to share, but will now since this was tweeted out.
Charlie has expressed serious interest with baseball NIL. Talks have been going on for a few months now. I can't remember what year(s) he played for NU but it was sometime in the 80's. I believe his NIL amount is in the low 6 digits (real low) and it'd be legit NIL opportunities & not what Muchacho's did (buy a players name meal & that player gets a small cut of the proceeds). Nothing wrong with that, but hard for a player to make any money....
If you're in Lincoln, please give this man & CFA some business.

Well, talks shouldn't take a few months. September(ish) is when I was told about Charlie & CFA. Guarantee a business ain't waiting several months for football or basketball, or even volleyball.

A really good guy... Only thing I can say negative about him is that he was a Northeast Rocket... 🙂
