When I was a kid and within the balloon fascination demographic age (5-7?), my memories were not of balloons, but of Roger Craig, Turner Gill, Mike Rozier, Irving Fryar, etc. I recall people releasing balloons but I didn't care. I just wanted to watch the game.

Are there endorphins released when the balloons go to the sky? I honestly don't know.

I like it because I’ve been going to games since I was a child with my mother, and she has always liked it. I wasn’t mad when they took them away, my mom was probably a little disappointed but why take them away? College football is about traditions, might as well keep them alive!
