So what has to happen for Nebraska to not win the conference outright? Drop 2 of the last however many?

Yep, lose 2, including 1 to Wisconsin, & Wisconsin wins out. Then it'd come down to whatever the second tiebreaker is after head-to-head.
No tie-breakers....if they end the season in a tie they are declared co-champions.

Nebraska beats bottom feeders in Michigan and Cockeye and will clinch at least a share of the title. Beat Minnesota and the Huskers win the title outright, regardless of what happens vs. Wisconsin.

Voters love Stanford. Wisconsin getting hosed there.

Wisconsin getting hosed doesn't bother me, but it could end up screwing Nebraska in the end. If we lose to Wisconsin, are the voters going to put us 3rd then?

We beat Stanford earlier this year, so we should be fine.

Should be isn't the same as will be when it involves voters or committees.
Remembering the old adage after reading this: "A camel is a horse designed by committee".

Yeah, sometimes they get things really, really wrong. Gotta win 'em all to wear the crown, tho.

Wonder if Wisconsin gets knocked out of top 4 if they lose to us. They might end up not hosting the second weekend, lot tougher to win at Texas or Louisville or even Stanford than being at home. If Wisconsin does get knocked out of top 4, they better hope they get in the Stanford bracket, lot easier to win there then at Texas or Louisville which will have good crowds.

Be nice to beat Wisconsin and knock them into the Louisville bracket and let Danni finish them off. But it would be a hose job by the committee if Wisconsin isn't seeded number 2.
