The misspellings and shitty grammar didn't bother me as much as the pervasive bullshit and regurgitated hype. They need someone on staff that is a bit more grounded in reality to counter that but Dean would sweat losing his access privileges.

For that matter, I cannot read any offseason articles from OWH or LJS. I'll await the midseason column where someone is finally saying "WTF?"

Dean is too busy speaking at the Ladies of the Revolution Cotillion in Lyons, NE to figure out how to institute the use of Spellcheck. My grammar sucks, and in comparison his writers make my writing look good. That's not easy to do

Dean's site has literally become the CNN of Sports Reporting. Feels like he is just serving Kool Aide and writing positive fluff pieces to stay in the good graces of the North Stadium. The next tough question he asks Frost will be the first tough question he has ever asked Frost. He sold out. So much for Journalistic Integrity, as he's more concerned about his money and rise to power.

I have a client that is a retired editor for the OWH and other places. He got on the topic that he can barely read the news anymore because it's like nails on a chalkboard with all the grammar errors.

I asked if he'd ever read anything from HOL. He went off. Said he loves Nebraska football but said he can't even get through an article it's so bad.

It's an embarrassment, or at least it should be. If they want to just be message board owners that's one thing (no offense @HuskerGarrett) but Dean clearly takes HOL's reputation as a media entity very seriously. I don't understand how you could expect to be taken seriously as a reporter/columnist/writer when all your articles seem like they're being written on a phone while driving?

On the other hand, it's gotten him this far so who am I to question his rise to power...

Dean & his Minions have turned into Fake News. More concerned with selling subscriptions and making the North Stadium Happy.

First time it really came to my attention was when we were recruiting Amani Bledsoe, a 4 Star DE from Lawrence, KS that ended up at Oklahoma. A friend of mine who played at KU and in the NFL, Keith Loneker, was helping him with training and his recruitment. Normally I won't name sources for fear of losing a source but Keith passed away from Cancer, RIP big man. Someone on RSS asked about Amani and I think it was Robin who commented that he was going to be publishing a piece about Amani. I called Keith and asked him what was going on with Amani's recruitment and Keith said he had ZERO interest in Nebraska. I got all kinds of info from Keith. I passed on all of that information for their article and even named my source. Dean's boys still wrote a total Kool Aide Fluff Piece that made it sound like we were one of the leaders for Amani. The RSS Potatoes got all excited, and it truly was Fake News. The Sheople didn't know any better
