Since the offseason, I have eyed this one as my road game this year.
Maybe I'm a glutton, but I am still considering it.

Anyone have one extra ticket, per chance?
Looks like there's a group of bars across the river west of the stadium. Is that the place to go post game?
What's the scene like around the stadium?

I am not. Cockeye city is a pretty fun town if you can ignore all the Hawkeye fans.
Any suggestions of where to hit up pre or postgame?

I was able to find a hotel room yesterday in downtown IC within walking distance of the stadium for one night for $179. I was pretty shocked. Maybe it speaks to the excitement (or lack thereof) for this game.

Fun town tbh. Spent some time there in grad school

If you're in town the night before try to hit up Big Grove. Weather should be nice and they've got good food/beers and outdoor space.

Tailgating space isn't hard to find. $25 day-of last I went. Melrose is a top 15 tailgate spot but the holiday might kill the vibe

Bars downtown should all be fun since students are gone. Mickey's and Vine (either one) if you want a place to sit and DC's has a ton of TVs but it's usually packed. All good places to go pre-game if you're not tailgating. Airliner's been around since the 40's and it's got a lot of charm but the bar's so small you're probably gonna wait. It might be slow with the holiday, who knows. If there's no line, stop in.

There's a big brain shaped rock in the middle of campus. Go piss on it if we lose since all the students touch it

Thanks @Tonkasker.

Man, I was really surprised how cheap I could find tickets and hotel on such late notice.

It sounds really fun to go from Oklahoma to Cockeye the day after thanksgiving to watch this Nebraska team. I’ll have to rethink my decision now.

That's weekday prices man, congrats. When we've been for PennSt or Minny it's like $400 a night minimum

As much as I love the black friday spot it would be sick to be in IC for a regular gameday and get the whole hog for a skers game. Fantastic gameday town when another Big Ten team is playing there
