Dumb question, but I thought Smothers played a handful of plays (or less)? Being in the stadium, sometimes it tougher to catch those things.

I agree though. Purdy wasn't doing jack. Get someone in there that at least has some mobility.

We should just forfeit the rest of the games. Fire all the coaches and remove all scholarships and encourage businesses to end any NIL deals. These coaches and players are an embarrassment to the state and to the game.

He played right before halftime which surprised the play by play guys. Mickey told the sideline reporter it was Logan’s show at halftime and then the guys calling the game were surprised again when Chubba got the nod.

Thanks for that; I had no idea about the sideline reporter question, and thoughts from the game announcers.

The chance of permanent shell shock to throw in Torres is too high. Run more zone read and mix in a lot of PA and go Smothers if CT is done. Or, have CT throw left handed. Both better options than Purdy at this point.

You will put something on film for the next coach. I could see none of the qbs on the roster being in the picture come next year.
