With that easy TD drop by Banks in the Bowl game, Nebraska pass catchers officially dropped 6 TD passes in 2024.

4 by Neyor, including that interception in the Illinois game.
2 by Banks

Some might argue that Neyor scores vs. Cockeye in the 2nd half after a terrible wide open grab at the 30 yard line. That's possible, but Im not counting that one.

I am fine with Neyor. He had his flaws, but Id rather have him them Alex Bullock catching passes.
He was better than the status quo. Banks was far more reliable overall, but was also more proven beforehand.

I do think this next years WR’s look like an improved bunch but you never know.

Satterfield did the WR’s no favors.

Agreed, Key and Hunter looks like good ones. Along with Raiola progressing and young WRs, I feel good there.

Neyor was fine for the most part, probably more of a #3 or #4 WR that we had to put into a #1/#2 role. Banks and Neyor had their flaws, but in Banks and Neyors defense, Raiola was really struggling mid season and was trigger shy. Idk if that was his sophomore slump come early or if it was Satt, but his struggles effected their stats as well.

Satt had slow developing plays early that required possession style receivers to outrun cb’s. Seemed to make Raiola lose confidence in throwing down field.

Banks was far better on slants than deep outs, yet Satt ran a 5 second deep route time after time while not knowing how to integrate a running game to keep defenses honest.
