I've texted a couple friends and wife called to make me an appt Monday. I think they're giving me the safe answer.

Started seeing floaters in one eye. Best description is it looks like a no color version of when they take a picture of your eye. Like a galaxy with star clusters.

They're telling me I should see an optometrist within 24 hours. I just got to Costa Rica yesterday. Obviously I'm not having a Costa Rican dr perform eye surgery and I won't be home until Sunday night.

What are the real chances I'm going to be blind in that eye waiting until Monday.

Good thing we've got 2 eyes.

Best way i can describe it is the picture above except imagine the gray area as clear and the everything is dotted lines/clusters. Moves as I move eye but always clusters similar places.

Yeah that's different than what I experienced. Mine is essentially like a shadow that follows when I look around but I only notice it when I really try. Otherwise it doesn't bother me and I just go through the day. God Speed.

I have had that going for a few years and expressed concern but I was told na that's normal and you are good.

People must care more about you lol.

I think the detached retina part is just a possibility. If retina is detached that's a problem.

I thought my contact was smudged. Still there when i took my contact out.
