And so it begins...(tracking Coach Prime decommits/transfers)

Anyone have a scout on colorado for the year? impossible to find a good preview
I would take most bets on Colorado losing this year and then saying Deion won't be the coach for next year.

But we're in Nebraska and I'm not allowed to sports gamble.

I think there’s a lot of unknown because they lost so many players. Also they have a new OC - it’s the same guy that was at UNLV a couple of years ago and was at Sac St (I think) last year. I believe the offense is called the Go-Go?

Their schedule is honestly kind of brutal.

Open at Georgia Tech
Play at Northwestern two weeks later- That's the kind of game that David Braun from Northwestern doesn't lose
at Baylor the next week. - Bears should be decent this season
Home opener vs. Texas Tech

CU will be 1-4 before October

Home vs. Utah
at Oklahoma State
K-State
at Arizona State

1-8 going into November

Houston
at Cincy
UCF in the Pillow Fight Bowl

2-10 at best

I'm riding with Prime for the UCF game though

Interestingly, I saw a talking head predict they’d be decent this year. Something about having too much talent not to be, which I thought was bullshit.

Yeah everything I've read says the same four points but I'm really fascinated by them this year. Hoping for a fun hatewatch

- Schedule hard
- Brennan Marion (known pervert) running the offense
- JuJu lewis starting
- decent portal haul

The schedule looks tough with another substantial reset and not elite talent coming back.

Would love to see a complete meltdown, but to the staff’s credit, they’ve managed to keep it from going completely off the rails.

So far.

Its been an interesting experiment in that when you have such a transient roster conventional wisdom would tell you there isn't as much buy-in and could result in an absolute crater, compounded by the fact that having such a transient roster could be really hard on your depth, both of which would realize in performance in the back half of the year

I think maybe they've been able to get ahead of the former by setting expectations with their guys better than we'd all expect in that they're just here for film and NIL and I could see that actually being a nice hedge against results. Like Boo Carter didn't transfer there to win a title

And maybe the latter is just a universal issue now and they're not some special case for lacking depth
