Hahaha as silly as it may seem, this is a tradition I hoped would come back.

Lots of people have (sometimes rightfully) scoffed at JP over the years, especially when he's lobbed bombs from Twitter or random speaking engagements, but it really does seem like he's found a great niche in this new non-coaching mentor(?) type of role with the team. He can put his relentless energy and passion to good use while being on the same side of the fence as the players, instead of being the old guard chiming in at them from the outside.

I don't even really know what his official duties are with this role, or if Foreman is still involved as well, but this kind of thing is cool to see. He's like an official hype man/crazy older brother.

Agreed. Love the way they are able to infuse the old swag with the new. Well said.
