For the purposes of this discussion, assume DR is not back next season. How would you go about addressing the QB room next season?

1) Run it back with Lateef. Portal/'26 QB croot for depth.
2) Bring in a starter from the portal, hope you can convince Lateef to stick around and develop for '27.

It is clear promises were demanded from DR. That's why he isn't at OSU or Georgia. He sat Sims (fairly) quickly. Hope he isn't dumb enough to start making guarantees.
