Don’t see much need for a te or wr.
We don’t really use either
Agreed. I want a running back and about 6 more guys all 320 lbs or more.
In my order of importance:
- Starting Edge (or a starting DE if the plan is to move Nweneri to the “up” end)
- Starting LG
- Backup Nose
- Starting RB
- Backup OT
I still want us to add a TE but it doesn’t look like we are talking to anyone at that position.

I was joking about Parrott b/c it seems like everyone wants us to go find Rikishi to play nose. Size might be a byproduct of what are the truly needed attributes but it in and of itself isn’t what matters. Cockeye’s starting interior line were both about Burburija’s size. Taller, but same weight.
Order of importance to me (considering what they have already acquired in the portal):
1) DT
1A) DE
1B) DT again
1C) DE again
2) OL
3) RB
4) DT again
At this point I don’t know if there any big 10 ready DL out there but you can not have enough of them.
I think they have
2 DT and 2 Edge.
Basically they have Nwaneri, RVP, Pietrzak, Lenhardt?, and the two freshman coming off of injury Terry and Simpson. Maybe 1-2? of the others mostly young or backups at best.
Certainly we could work out some sort of trade deal. We’ve got a special running this month. Buy 1 Raiola, get 1 free in exchange for a DL.

Elon transfer quarterback Landen Clark is committing to LSU via the transfer portal, per On3’s Hayes Fawcett and Steve Wiltfong. He’ll have three years of eligibility remaining.
Clark completed 56 percent of his passes for 2,321 yards and 18 touchdowns with 8 interceptions while taking 35 sacks in 12 games in 2025. He was also the team’s second-leading rusher with 614 yards and 11 touchdowns on 189 attempts.

Yeah for TE I forgot we had numbers there. Still screwed if LL goes down since we'd be relying on a tFr and Nelson.
We're pretty weak at WR outside of Hunter and Kwazi, but have a lot of guys at the position. Hopefully Mills can make a big jump.
There’s plenty of bodies at wr. At a certain point you need to let the young guys plays. Another transfer clogs up the room.
Hopefully Matt just stays out of holgs way and lets him coach. Also hopefully the new qb is a big let it rip guy
Chunky and thick…and really good at what they do.
Don't forget about Markway. Going to roll him out there with knees held together with hopes and prayers like Fidone 2.0.
