Horrific officiating. Reminded me of us getting screwed by B1G refs
The announcement that the ball had gone out of bounds was jaw dropping.
Either the head official is knowingly lying and attempting to gaslight people into thinking they saw something they didn’t, or he was paying so little attention to the game that he didn’t see that the ball was nowhere near the sideline.
I don’t think I’ve ever - even in shitty college football games - seen a referee announce something as fact which was plainly false and with literally no room for interpretation that it was anything other than false.
He could have announced that it was a Tuesday and been no less truthful.
