I think he was trying to foul before the shot. I think with new continuation rules that strategy need to go out the window.
If he really was trying to do that it was a dumb move with the amount of time left. Usually need a second or two more.
Now I think everyone on TCU did the same thing.
Besides the fact he was just throwing up a prayer that if he gets lucky and makes its a tie.
I’m a KU hoops fan. Peterson is the best freshman I’ve ever seen at KU; better than Embid and Wiggins. He’s unreal. It would be really cool if he could play a whole game.
Did he take himself out at the end of regulation?
Yes. Hamstring issue. He’s only played in 5 games this season, and I think he’s only finished one.

Yeah but he came back in 5 min later. Seems like drama to me.
He took himself out in the middle of a play. Was looking at the bench to come out when someone threw a pass to him and turned it over with about a minute left. If KU had lost they might've ran him out of town, number one pick or not
He saw LeBron play limited minutes to save himself for the playoffs. Staying fresh for March.
I don’t think so. I’ve been skeptical of the injury, but it seems to be recurring. He tried to take himself out when they were on the run coming back. He was a huge part of it. I think he wanted to be out there.
He came back in with less than 5 seconds left for an offensive possession where they needed a 3. He’s their best shooter, not hard to get through the pain for one offensive possession. He didn’t play in OT.
This is a phenomenal story
