Dylan might end up at UNK with Ryan Held
Sad to see Brohm giving up and taking a talented backup from a top program.
If he comes here I expect it to be as a verstile depth piece which we need for the DL. For the Edge position Nwaneri will be back for his sophomore year and they are still the favorite to land Ryan Henderson from SDSU.
Sounds like he might be a second rate quarterback…

I'm a little concerned that Raiola is going to Oregon. Max Olson thinks there's a good shot of that happening. He thinks Dante Moore is going to the NFL.
This explains Louisville going for Kienholz. And also explains why there's been zero buzz about Dylan going anywhere (other than Louisville).
I think Dylan will do really well at Oregon. Which I'd be fine with but we play them in Eugene next season and I'd rather not have the circus involved with that game. Or the "revenge" game which we are seemingly on the wrong end of one of those every 2-3 yrs.
Lanning was one of the coaches who called up Rhule and let him know that Dom was shopping Dylan around mid season. I’d be slightly surprised if he ends up there due to this but it’s definitely possible. At least Lanning knows what drama he’s signing up for with that family.
If he does end up there I hope he sucks. Respectfully.

I hope you're right about it not happening. I just don't need to hear Gus Johnson screaming about how "Raiola's doing it to his former team!!" 85 times during that game as they beat us 55-10.
The reason I fear it MIGHT happen is that I think Lanning would know how desperate that Dom/Dylan are to make this JR season work. If Dylan flops, his NFL hopes are in big trouble. I think Dom could act like an a-hole/helicopter dad when he had leverage. He had some leverage with OSU and UGA when DR was a hot recruit. And he had tons of leverage against Rhule/NU bc we needed him. They have zero leverage left at this point.
I'm afraid Lanning might take a chance on him (a) bc the QB portal options aren't great and (b) Lanning might realize that Dom is gonna STFU bc everyone knows how desperate the Raiolas are in yr 3. Also (c) Oregon is big in Hawaii and signing Raiola would be big to further their dominance of getting blue chip Poly recruits.
What Oregon SHOULD do is empty the bank vault for Dampier at Utah. But he hasn't entered the portal. And I don't know if Whittingham would go for him etc. Or if he even wants to leave Utah.
Or in the top ten.

I can’t imagine Rhule doesn’t understand in 2026 he can do no worse than match 2025’s W/L record to avoid his seat getting pretty hot. I’d assume he’s going to have to focus on guys who’re at least a marginal improvement game one over anyone we’re cycling out.
He can’t think he’s got years to develop anything at this point? Right?

It's just exhausting at this point. It's the trendy thing now - to think Rhule is an absolute idiot.
Be a fan and support the program. If it ends up not working out and you get hurt again, so be it. But just enjoy the ride, rather than being an insufferable douche.
