New Hampshire only has 2 actual wins over D1 basketball teams this season.

I suppose if you have to play a non con game sandwiched between a week off at the Holidays and a monster home game vs a top 10 team, this is the opponent to choose.

I picked over just to be an optimist and cause I’m flying high with these boys. I actually don’t think Sam will play enough minutes to get 17 assists/rebounds combined. But fuck it, I’m rolling with over. I’m all emotion and zero logic at this point.

Edit: My reading comprehension sucks… says points+rebounds+assists. Sam can probably pull that off.

Will Oogie see the floor in this game? Will that mess with team chemistry?

If he's still not 100% for another couple weeks, does it make sense to sit him until next year. This is the year IMO - you cannot save for the future if he'll help once in the tourney. But if it's continues to nag until early February, that may be another story.

I think you just have to put him in and find out… this team has to get a deeper rotation if possible.

Yeah we've got a shot this year, I think you have to roll with him.

If he's ready he has to play so they can see if he's going to be ready. If he's not ready they can do a medical redshirt. If he's going to go the route of a medical redshirt they have until the Indiana game which is January 9th or 10th and is 4 games away.

It's too bad they didn't blow out North Dakota from the opening tip because if they had he would've played.

Thank you for this contribution. Good to know.

Michigan State plays Cornell tomorrow. Not sure if that extra day of prep or rest will matter considering they have to travel to Lincoln for the Friday night game.

Bottom line is the Huskers and Spartans will be a combined 25-1 when they play on Friday.

Huge game. Wouldn’t be shocked if we’re actually a slight favorite. -1.5 maybe -2.0

BTW, according to KenPom, New Hampshire has the 355th ranked offense in D1 basketball. There are 365 teams total in D1 basketball.

The Huskers have played 7 top 100 offenses so far this season, including 6 in the top 6.

New Hampshire will either look completely lost on the offensive end or some random nobody, who averages 5 ppg, will hit 7 of 10 threes and keep them in the game for a half.
