Breaking Dylan to portal

Unless he really loves bourbon or horse racing this would be a huge step down for him
If we're being realistic, he put some solid stuff on film, e.g. short to mid accuracy, carving up zones when he has time, and some downright terrible stuff on film, e.g. taking loads of sacks, missing some easy reads and throwing ints, and never throwing the ball downfield.

He definitely improved year 1 to year 2, but now it's more about production for schools than potential

Sure, but Jeff Brohm is really good with QBs. I think this is a really solid landing spot for him.

His broken leg also plays a factor as well.
Will he even be available for spring ball?
Probably looking at summer or fall camp before he can start practicing with teammates

He should be full go for spring ball.

Believe me, I'm not calling for Haarberg to QB the bowl game or anything. It just kinda reinforces to me that while Dylan is definitely a loss to the team, he's ultimately not irreplaceable.
Oh I know, just knew where the thread was going to go afterward lol

Why do people think the adidas stuff matters for Dylan? He had an NIL deal with them at Nebraska, but that doesn’t mean Nike or Jumpman or UnderArmour or anyone else won’t meet his needs at any other school. At the end of the day his market value is what it is and whatever school he picks will find a way to pay it, whether that be through the schools apparel company or not.

Well maybe adidas overpaid like many people did in housing from 2022-2023 and now can’t find a buyer for same price.

Would be nice to know what the market rate is for the top transfer QBs.

Dylan had to be making about that while at Nebraska, certainly doesn't seem to be his value going into 2026.

I think it's a fool's errand to speculate on what his value is. Our perspective being close to the program is not the national perspective. He's still a former 5-Star QB that played above average football and had a team on the cusp of 7-2 before breaking his leg.

I think he will still command a high dollar amount.
