Breaking Dylan to portal

Never saw it with Raiola. I know a lot of Husker fans touting that he is a NFL QB. Arm talent is not elite. Throws very inaccurate deep ball. Slow blinker/processor. Worse pocket presence than Shadeur Sanders. Poor athleticism.

There is zero chance Raiola is a NFL QB.
Even if he finds a new school where he can put up big numbers, I don't see him as an NFL starter. He may be a late round draft pick but he does not have the arm, the feet, or the processing to compete at that level. He's great at intermediate routes but has terrible touch on deep balls.

NFL QB's are a different breed. At the very least you have to process things quickly to make up for other shortcomings. DR has never shown the capacity to do that.

Let's put it this way: if a John Butler led defense was facing off against DR, I'd love our chances in locking him up.

Rumor has it this is on Dom and not Dylan. Dylan wanted to stay but the family, and particular Dom was pissed about the Donovan firing. I'm like; sad to hear, but this goes to the problem with having someone who was "too great to let go" theory of quarterback management. There is no such thing as a QB who is too good to not let go if they are hurting the team.

I mean there def is a qb who’s too good to let go. Dylan just isn’t one.

Never really seemed like Dylan uncorked it. Not sure if it was can't or won't
The weird thing is he has the arm strength. He overthrew guys a couple times and he made a 20+yd pass while falling down on the money. You can't do that without arm strength.

But for some reason he never threw a fastball and he was CRAZY accurate up to 20 yards but then crazy inaccurate past 20 yards. So weird.

TBH if he could spend a whole offseason working on pocket presence and deep balls, he'd be a way better QB.
