It's like less than .0001% of me but that part thinks because it's such a dookie match up for Utah that Nebraska will pants them.

Pretty hard to handicap these bowl games until you know exactly what these teams’ starting line ups are gonna look like. That being said, I’m gonna stick to my original take, if you have 14+ pt favorite in a bowl game you suck at pairing teams and/or the system the bowl committee is working sucks balls. I tend to think they both suck.

College Football Fans want to watch CFB games. Over 4 million people watched Nebraska vs Boston College last year. That is a good number for driving ad revenue.
I'm a CFB fan and watch all types of random bowl games with no rooting interest. There is only a month of this left before a long off season.
And to be fair, the ONLY reason this game is happening is the B1G is sending three teams to the CFP, so we slid up the bowl alignment chart in our conference. The Big 12 only has Tech, so Utah draws what would have been the #7 team in the B1G.
I don’t have much hope we can compete, much less win, but who knows. Utah doesn’t usually take games off and with Whittingham calling it quits, I suspect they’ll be dialed in.
Correct, as I'm currently watching Troy vs Jax St and it's a really entertaining game. I have to agree though that our game is a less than ideal match-up due to the B1G bowl tie ins. I'm just hoping for a decent performance and not a blow out.
They'll probably be sky high with his retirement. Imagine Devaney or Osborne's last game. Ugh.
