Breaking Dylan to portal

I think I half agree with you.

If we're talking Leavitt or Sorsby, then you're probably just wrong. Those guys are "do everything to get" if you can.

But...if we're talking someone who was just 'pretty good' somewhere and coming here? Give me the lower level dudes who balled every time.
Now do highly touted backup vs ODU boy...

Kienholz over Colton Joseph? That's where I really struggle - like, what would Kienholz have done if Sayin wasn't "the guy"? Always hard to prognosticate production of someone who hasn't done it yet. But damn Kienholz was close to coming to DONU if i remember correctly? The next Burrow?

Yeah, we wouldn't want the 6th ranked transfer QB who is a proven dual threat that's only behind former highly recruited P4 qbs moving on that these industry guys aren't going to admit have red flags keeping them from being worthwhile (Lagway looking at his 3rd stop already). We shouldn't want a QB that everyone is listing as a guy worth getting high level looks.

As far as non-starters go - anyone got word on Kienholz?
I'm not interested in a guy who may be marginally better than TJ agaisnt a P4 schedule. I'm also not really intersted in a QB who runs for 1,000 yards. That's not a recipe for sustained success against a P4 schedule.

Except his family member was retained long before he committed. If you want to argue we should have canned Donnie last year, well our o-line actually wasn't as bad last year.
he was retained for the purpose of securing Dylan's commitment. please don't feign ignorance on this point.

and our OL was absolute trash every year he was here.

So take Sorsby and Leavitt out - just pretend they are going to TTU and IU respectively and we aren't changing that...

Who do you want in that scenario?

Yeah that's tougher for sure.

I don't mind Colton if we land on him after we tried the big ones...then so be it.

GA TECH looks alright going for...2700 and 900+ - and who was their OL coach, I wish we could get a guy familiar with blocking for that style of QB

Diego Pavia and Vandy at 10-2 in the almighty SEC with 3100 and 800+

Dampier at Utah went for 2100 and about 700

While I might agree with you on the 1K comment, and guy that can give you 500/600 plus would put you in the Sorsby/Williams at Washington plus guys listed above category.

And just so I get this straight, we can't have a statue that can't move, but they also can't run too well. Got it.

Now you're twisting what others are saying.

Nobody is going to object to a guy who throws 65%+/3000/1000

They just don't want a dude who's an average thrower just so they can have a guy who runs for 1000

I could get onboard with Haynes King or Dampier.

maybe we can get a replacement for Barney that can run through a strong gust of wind without falling down
