Watches

I have several different Victorinox watches, a brand I have worn for decades. The original "tank" watch maker. I also have Tissot dress watches. As a kid my parents gave me a very nice self-winding watch from a manufacturer that I can't remember now. It was a great watch and you never had to do anything but change the time for zones or for DST. It finally wore out after 30 years and I couldn't find a jeweler who could fix it anymore.

When I was in the military in Europe, everyone bought Rolex watches. When I went to Zurich, I found so many brands that I actually preferred over the Rolex.

Garmin Fenix - solar works well in the summer where it just doesn’t use the battery much. It’s not going to fully charge for you, but it doesn’t drain much.

I charge mine when I shower. Workout for 60-120min a day between lift and running. I’m rarely below 80% battery life.
