I’m not going to be dumb enough to act like I know a fraction of the amount about OLine technique to know if Raiola is a good coach or not. But if our OLine is as bad this year as it was last year I don’t know how anyone could expect to keep their job when the result of their work is that god awful.

Absolutely would have been better off taking McCord and/or Leavitt and canning Donnie. But at the time everyone thought taking Dylan was the right call. Rhule would have been crucified for not taking Dylan.

We could have went with McCord or Leavitt. If we go with McCord maybe we get the Millard South Qb. We aren’t in any worse position today.

I really don't think they were married to each other. Donnie wasn't here to get Dylan. Even after Dylan flipped to Georgia, we extended Donnie. Right or wrong, he was here because Rhule thought he could get the job done.

I think Rhule doubled down thinking this would at least give us a chance to flip Dylan down the road. I’m sure he at least thought Donnie would be serviceable, and worth keeping if it gave him a chance at flipping a 5 star. I truly believe he would have been canned right away if DR didn’t exist.
