Not sure he was great in the run game. His line had times where they looked good, but we should be asking for a hell of a lot more from a 4th year OL coach. Especially the amount of experience we had on the line this year.

I'm a pretty firm believer that things are never as good as you think, or as bad. The truth is somewhere in the middle.
And I also don't buy the nepotism comments. I don't care who his nephew is. A shit OL with an elite QB will still result in a shit offense. That is obvious to everyone. Regardless of if you believe he merited the role or not, I truly believe he was there because Frost and Rhule believed he could do the job, not because of his family.
I have no idea if your comment about him being the only B1G OL coach to have no draft picks or all-conference players in his tenure. But if that is true, that's pretty damn.
And again, I'm not trying to sound like a Donnie apologist. He wasn't getting the job done. He is gone now and I believe we will be better for it.
