I think you see my point now. BYU can shove it right down TT throat and then they go for second down passes and then you call a trick play on your own 40?
TT after watching them appears to have had the Disney/ESPN hype machine behind them. Looks like just another Big 12 team the last decade. Will get pushed around by any BIG or SEC team imo.
TT LT has been getting whooped. Appears a lot of motions and scheme has helped their OL because when they have to straight up block they have struggled.
Both defenses look smaller compared to the top lines in BIG and SEC. BYU skill guys are average, TT above average.

My money is on Tech getting bounced in playoffs unless they get a perfect matchup. I just don’t think I can pick a BigXII team to win a NC until I actually see one do it. Some people think this TT team is different. I’m skeptical.

Texas Tech can do some damage because their defense is legit. Tech, OU, and OSU all have bad ass defenses. It’s too bad OU’s offense sucks.

They're defensive line is probably in the top 2-3 in college football, that alone gives you a shot.

Tech is going to lose in a close loss to some SEC team & every big 12 school will act like it’s evidence they’re equals to the SEC/B1G

I definitely think they look better than any of the other non-SEC/B1G teams we’ve seen in the last 2 seasons. But I’m not 100% convinced their defense is legit against playoff competition. (non-BigXII teams)

I’m a believer, but we will find out soon. They have some crazy defensive numbers. It’s not like BYU is garbage and it’s the second time they have absolutely destroyed them with their defense. I’m not sold on their offense.

That’s why I love the expanded playoffs. We’ll most likely get to see the results on the field.
