Breaking College Football Playoff Selection

Ohio State, Indiana, Georgia, Texas Tech, Texas A&M, Oregon appear to be locks

If BYU beats Tech in the Big 12 championship they are in

I assume Notre Dame gets in

It's possible the ACC won't have a team in the playoff

Then you've got Alabama, Ole Miss, and Oklahoma. If Alabama wins the SEC championship they'll be in for sure. But Alabama will pry be in it no matter what

I just hope Duke wins a causes all sorts of hell
ACC probably doesn't get a team in the playoff then, which would be hilarious but would in fact cause problems

[No Nebraska mention]
sad panda GIF

I'm not sure why A&M really deserves to be ranked that high and consequently why Notre Dame's loss to them is considered so good.

A&M was 0-1 against the top 7 teams in the SEC. Their best SEC win is Missouri?

They are living off beating teams we thought would be good but aren't.

How A&M resume any different than Oregon

I really think the thing with ND to watch is if these guys are trying to force them to join a conference by penalizing them for not playing a conference-centric schedule. There's just too much money in having ND in your corner to not want them in a conference.
