Mentally Ill or the dumbest decision he could’ve ever made… would’ve been drafted and helped his people much more with that NFL paycheck. Or both

sure. but he also couldve used his platform as an nfl player to do the same thing
True, if he would've used his head instead of his heart...when the heart rules it makes you do things that don't make sense.

wish him the best. Seems like he genuinely feels called back to his home country. From the ESPN piece on him, didn’t get the impression that he really was in love with football.
