In Big Ten play, Nebraska opponents were 28-for-28 (100%) scoring in the red zone this year:
  • 22 touchdowns (78.57%)
  • 6 field goals
CFBstats.com has conference data going back to 2016. In that span, no team has allowed a worse red-zone scoring percentage than the 2025 Nebraska defense (100%). Nebraska is also tied with 2024 Purdue for the worst red-zone touchdown percentage allowed (78.57%) in that ten-year period.

I’m no mathematician but isn’t it literally impossible to allow a worse percentage?
 
Butler wasn't ready for a defensive coordinator position. Definitely not at Nebraska.

Not sure if working with a 3-3-5 designed from the getgo that put him in a bad spot, but we handed the stick shift truck to someone who doesn't know how to work a manual truck.
