Garrett and I had a lot to talk about on this week's episode of the tpbPod as we walked through what went wrong at Penn State for Big Red, plus preview the upcoming game on Black Friday against NU's top rival the Cockeye Cockeyes and discuss a bit about Nebrasketball's early season successes.

Link to this week's episode is here:

As always, please provide us a 5 star rating on whatever platform you listen to and subscribe to the pod to get new episodes as they are released weekly!

So not going to lie, first time listening to this podcast. Couldn't get around to listening to it because I only listen to podcasts when I drive for work but I've been listening to audiobooks to finish them out recently.

So some thoughts:

-Good sound level on Spotify. Usually when uploading, some of the sound levels that Spotify, Amazon, iHeart, etc are naturally built in, so after upload, your natural sound level may sound lower on some and higher on others. But Spotify is usually the main podcast hub, so if you get that at the natural sound level, then you're good.

-Really enjoy the different section breakdowns in Spotify so if I can skip a section or jump to a section, I definitely can. Can't speak on the other podcast hubs, but Spotify, that's top notch. Wish more Nebraska football podcasts did that.

-You guys have good natural energy when talking about Nebraska athletics and such and do have humor and good analogies, but it almost seems like you need a third person to be a little more high energy. I'm going to my "Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia" analogy, but you need a wildcard: "When you’re a natural-born wildcard, you don’t stop to think about things, you just act. The gang, meanwhile, just uses it as a way to get Charlie out of the picture while letting him remain the wildcard. But don’t let that get you down — you can take the wildcard out of the situation, but no one can take the wildcard out of you."

Good listen. Looking forward to the next one.

Thanks Juro - the plan is definitely to bring in third people, most likely from the board, post December as Garrett and I’s travel schedules have been a bit crazy from early November through mid-December. Ideally we would be able to bring in a different TPB member for each episode (although probably not every episode just given calendar constraints) to chat through things in Husker land with us. Appreciate the feedback and your listening - only going to keep refining and getting better as we do more of these.
