Absolutely. But I would enjoy every second of playing a team that I feel we should be normally playing still. Means more and makes more sense to me than playing friggin Maryland.

Like I said, I get the nostalgia.

I’m not sure getting our ass kicked by Missouri in a lessor bowl serves the program as well as an ugly win over Boston College or maybe this year Ohio.

In my mind we still have the training wheels on, for better or worse.

My excitement level would very low if we ended up with a school like Ohio

Mine will be low for any of them, except being excited about the added practices and bowl prep.

Barring a mass transfer by one of the good listed opponents, I see a loss I’m not going to get excited about.

Ohio is a likely win, which I’m assuming would only be the opponent if we lose to the Ditch Chickens on Friday and put us at 8-5. One game off of my stated win total expectations for this year, but quite a bit off on the ‘how I expected us to perform on the field. ‘ end of things.

We’re just not there yet and barring kicking the dog shit out of Cockeye Friday, I don’t see me excited for a bowl game.
