If its a simple disagreement no. When people are getting attacked it irks me. Read my post again. I've already made my position clear. I get being irritated when posters are attacking the players personally. I also have to wonder if someone who would call Dylan a fat turd is actually a fan of the team. If they are trolls the best way to deal with them is to ignore them. Acting like its unreasonable to not be happy that our defense couldn't stop numerous 3rd and long plays against UCLA is not reasonable to me. The "But we won" argument is meaningless to me. Unless the goal is to win a maximum of seven games a year with two of those being cupcakes and the rest the Big Ten bottom feeders no one should look at the game last night and think the defense is in great shape. Again that's my opinion. If someone wants to think the defense is right where it needs to be I won't agree but I won't call them names either just because I disagree. Give me the same courtesy.

I think the annoyance from some comes from the fact that certain posters ONLY post negativity and never acknowledge any positives and also seem to only come around when the team is struggling or after losses.

There is disagreeing and then there is the next level of vendetta. I see certain posters being targeted for a vendetta. Reminds me of the old days on RSS during Bo's last two years.

Right. Those would be the trolls I mention. Ignore them like I do and life will be better for all. If you find you can't do that put them on ignore so you don't have to see their posts.

I have no doubt you believe that. And I can think of really only two that are looking to cause trouble. I don't have them on ignore myself because I don't need to filter. I can do that for myself.

Mostly agree but coming in to the game thread and getting your butthole in an uproar because people are caught up in the game and posting over the top takes is in my eyes just looking to cause trouble. "Oh look at me! I'm so superior!" Fuck that. Its a game thread. It always going to be full of instant emotional hot takes. Get over yourself and if you can't see yourself out. You could go into any of the game threads and cherry pick posts from at least half the dudes on here that read out of the context of when they were posted would make them look and sound like drooling asses.
