Quick question - is 54 plays for us and 74 plays for them considered “playing keep away” as you said we’d do?
Then - while everyone is saying how much this finally looks like a Holgo offense, it’s your take that we went away from “what we want to do”? Even while Rhule is praising TJ for playing like a veteran that they’ve had supreme confidence in?
But, sure, Pat yourself on the back for being close to the final number, while ignoring how we got there. Great job, bud! It’s not like 17/28 came in the red zone or 4th qtr of a 2 score game.
And ignore that we thrived on either quick game or play action far more than “option pass” which I assume you mean to be traditional RPOs, not the traditional Nebraska option pass best ran by Jammal Lord

this isn’t even my take, it’s just plain as day obvious.
If we wanted to be a run-first, downhill football team, we would try to do that.
Instead, we insist on doing the finesse stuff we do with Dylan (what we want to do).
Now that we’re forced to go back to Plan B, it once again seems to suit us quite nicely.
