Right. Dylan’s game against Michigan was the best of his career. He was the entire offense behind a putrid offensive line. Anybody who says otherwise knows ZERO ball.

Over 1/3 of his yards and 2 of his TDs came on those two drives.

We never possessed the ball in the 4th within one score aka we never had a real chance of winning, they’re empty stats

Very impressed with TJ’s performance. But we’re gonna play some teams that we won’t be able to run the ball against. I want to see how TJ does in such a situation. Which will likely happen against both Penn st and Cockeye. He passes that test I’ll be sold.

Happy TJ played well but the circumstances were absolutely idyllic for a freshman QB making his first start. Basically never played behind the chains and his playmakers made big plays

We definitely need a bigger sample size….if he wins these last two games in impressive fashion, then I’m open to the possibility.

All that aside, I would pay the kid aggressively enough to ensure he doesn’t start looking elsewhere.

If he plays well against Pedo and Cockeye you have to pay him if you’re at all realistic about keeping him. Hope the “big boys” are serious about opening up the NIL pockets next season. If they do, and Rhule spends the money wisely we could be really good next year, regardless of a more difficult schedule.

Shore up/bolster the OL. Add a run stuffing DT and a pass rusher to the DL, get EJ some help at RB and keep all/most of our current players/contributors and we’ll be pretty damn good. I think… 🤣

they havent been bad at all in big ten play, aside from an indiana ass kicking. ive seen qbs struggle with troy and south alabama and georgia southern etc, im calling it now. he is a heisman contender if hes around in 2 years

You can break this type of stuff up all day.

The truth is Nebraska has two very capable or better QBs with different skill sets.
