Doubtful that Auburn gets anyone worth a shit to take that job. They're fucked for a while.
Auburn and Florida both missed out on Coach Scrote when we hired him

Good for VA Tech. Bad for Penn State. Franklin has always been a great recruiter in the Virginia and Maryland areas.
Yeah, hopefully he screws them over with 'crootin. The downside on the anti-PSU angle is that it'll probably reduce that big buyout they're paying him vs. if he sat out a year.

Same with Wisconsin. But I suppose someone could pluck another “Curt Cignetti” from nowhere and shock the world. If you can grab a smart young coach, who can bring players with him, and have a booster base that’s willing to open up the pocket books. You probably have a pretty good shot at a quick turnaround.

No, there’s not going to be enough known commodities to fill even half of these high profile jobs. But there’s also a pretty simple path/formula for success that wasn’t available 5 years ago…

Smart Coach + his own veteran players + Legit NIL $upport = Winning

This 100%. This alone makes Franklin a home run hire for them. The DMV area is loaded with talent and Franklin is a program builder. Shouldn’t take VT long to get back to relevance in the ACC with how low the bar is. Smart move for both parties.
