Agreed. It was the type of loss that is revealing on where the program really is. If that were Ohio State dominating NU, I'd understand it. It was Minnesota.

The only good news that should come of this is that it SHOULD prevent any type of extension/raise for Rhule. He's gotta earn it.

We remain the most empty calories program in CFB: decent investment, great resources, great fan support, etc, but have little to show for it beyond IG hype videos and podcasts.

We were scratching out close wins and not playing well against mid to low level teams in the B1G. It was only a matter of time before that caught up with us unless the team took steps forward which it didn’t.

The next hire needs to be a young up and coming coordinator from a big time program. Will Stein or Glen Schuman come to mind

Someone who’s coached under a big time coach and recruited big time dudes. A plus would be the ability to bring players with him from exisiting relationships. (Something you dont get with an NFL or non coaching hire like Urban)

We may get 1 or 2 more wins but they have to play better and get some difference makers in the portal if we want to take the next step.

Dude, if we win 2 more games and finish 8-4 that’s unquestionably a step forward.
