Gus Malzahn will more than likely be the interim if they cut Prison Mike’s sack. Tony White is not popular with the fan base or anyone associated with FSU and Malzahn has been a HC before.

Hard to watch him get pink socked by Ole Peej and think he's the guy to get you over the hump but maybe Kraft has made enough money that he's ok being fired
I ascribe to the theory that its a done deal behind the scenes and any coaching search by PSU is strictly for show. Just like Rhule's search for a new DC after Tony White "left unexpectedly" was all theater because it was always going to be JoBu. Always. I have been waffling between the idea he's staying and the idea he's already gone. The way the team played Friday night convinced me they know he's gone. Otherwise I have no explanation why a team that all season fought harder when the chips were down looked like a Scott Frost squad that didn't give two shits about winning.

Firing someone in season after a win is kinda funny. Like I get that he’s gotta go, but either 1) fire him last week after a loss 2) wait for another loss or 3) fire him at the end of the year.
